Developing AI Powered Enterprise Integration Platforms Through Cloud Native Observability and Automated Governance
Abstract
Modern enterprise IT environments increasingly rely on complex, distributed multi-cloud architectures. Integrating disparate business systems across these environments creates significant operational challenges, including fragmented data flows, poor system visibility, manual governance overhead, and delayed incident response. This paper presents an architectural framework for an AI-Powered Enterprise Integration Platform (EIP) that combines cloud-native observability with automated governance. By utilizing open telemetry standards, eBPF probes, and distributed message buses, the platform continuously ingests high-velocity system logs, metrics, and API call traces. Embedded machine learning models—including behavioral autoencoders and graph neural networks—analyze this telemetry in real time to map system dependencies, detect integration anomalies, and optimize traffic routing across microservices. An automated governance layer enforces zero-trust access controls, schema validation, and regulatory compliance rules programmatically across all integration points. Operating over elastic, containerized cloud infrastructure, the platform dynamically adjusts compute resources based on data volume spikes, maintaining low processing latency and high availability. Experimental evaluations indicate that this unified approach significantly cuts integration downtime, reduces false-positive alerts, streamlines compliance auditing, and lowers overall operational costs, providing a reliable blueprint for scalable enterprise software integration.
