Cloud-Native Enterprise Automation through Intelligent Workflow Orchestration and Large Language Model Integration
Abstract
Modern enterprises are increasingly adopting cloud-native architectures to achieve operational agility and systemic resilience. However, conventional workflow automation tools remain largely rigid, reliant on deterministic, hard-coded logic that struggles to adapt to unstructured data inputs, shifting business contexts, and dynamic environment variations. This paper introduces a novel architectural paradigm for Cloud-Native Enterprise Automation through Intelligent Workflow Orchestration and Large Language Model (LLM) Integration. The proposed framework bridges the gap between deterministic software execution and cognitive decision-making by embedding fine-tuned LLMs directly into cloud-native orchestration engines. Utilizing an event-driven microservices architecture, the system dynamically interprets unstructured enterprise data, synthesizes logical execution paths, and orchestrates complex API call graphs in real time. A central orchestration layer coordinates containerized agents via Kubernetes, utilizing retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and semantic routing to ensure precise execution and strict adherence to enterprise guardrails. Furthermore, the framework incorporates an autonomous feedback loop that parses execution telemetry to continuously optimize prompt constraints and model parameters. BEmpirical validation across high-throughput enterprise simulation environments demonstrates that this cognitive orchestration framework improves workflow flexibility by 64%, reduces process exception rates by 42%, and scales dynamically without introducing prohibitive computational or latency overheads.
